Talk on 'Life - Blessing or Curse' By All World Gayatri Pariwar “TO TURN YOUR LIFE INTO A BLESSING YOU MUST FIND A PURPOSE”

Jaipur, 18 September: Addressing a spiritual talk on ‘Life – Blessing or Curse’, the Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV), Dr. Chinmay Pandya said that to turn one’s life into a blessing, there is a need to find a purpose. The purpose may not be big but it should be right. One should focus on the ‘why’ of their purpose rather than ‘what’. The talk was organized by All World Gayatri Parivar in Jaipur today and was attended by hundreds of devotees and distinguished citizens from all sections of the society. Also present on the occasion were Rajasthan Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Pratap Singh Khachariywas and Rajasthan Minister of Agriculture, Lalchand Kataria.

Dr. Pandya further said that every soul is potentially divine. Human beings are the Ambassadors of divinity on Earth. Divinity is not a science of expression, it is a science of experience. Stressing on the need to make right choices, the speaker said that while birth and death are not in our hands, there are immense possibilities one has in life. It is all a matter of choices.

Talking about the advancement of technology, Dr. Pandya said that technology needs to be handled properly. It is increasingly leading to alienation, reduction of attention span as well as loss of patience among human beings.

Earlier in his welcome address, organizer of the event, Alok Agarwal informed that Dr. Pandya is the first Indian to be a member of the jury of The Templeton Prize, which is equivalent to the Nobel Prize in the field of spirituality. Since 2010, he has been serving as the Vice Chancellor of DSVV, as well as fulfilling important responsibilities in many Government and NGOs at national and international levels.  The members of the Organizing Committee also welcomed Dr. Pandya with garlands. The programme concluded with the release of a book of teachings of Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya.
