Kolkata, 11th September, 2022: Rashtra Vijay Utsav Banglar Sona Maa 2022 - An initiative by Sarmista Acharya and presented by Ankit Shaw & The Junction House was held today at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata. This event is being celebrated to honour the women across the country for their contributions in their respective fields. This is a Noble Initiative to Support & Recognise Tribal Community Women & Acid Victims. Their vision is to celebrate 75 Years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Honouring Daughters with Banglar Sona Maa from different walks of life.

Speaking to the media, Ms. Sarmista Acharya, Social Activist said, “It's a daughter’s month celebration. It’s a salute to the woman who has given birth to such pride in our nation. She knows what she wants in life, goes after it, and doesn’t depend on anyone else for what she wants, so we are presenting such proud daughters of our nation like Laxmi Agarwal and many others from different generations of the sector.”
