The pandals at My Home Krishe & My Home Vihanga, Financial Dist; Golf View, Nanakramguda; Jain Carlton Creek, Khajaguda; PBEL City, Peeramcheruvu & SMR Vinay Iconia, Kondapur make the cut for the final awards.
Hyderabad: Lions Clubs International Dist. 320A in association with the Department of Language & Culture, Government of Telangana and Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation, after successfully hosting Grand Ganesh Awards for the last two seasons, have initiated the process to select the best Gated Communities with eco-friendly Ganesha’s hosting community integration activities, for this year. The Jury comprising of Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva and independent members visited Gated communities in Financial Dist, Nanakramguda, Khajaguda, Peeramcheruvu and Kondapur areas today and judged the Ganesh pandals at My Home Krishe and My Home Vihanga at Financial Dist; Golf View, at Nanakramguda; Jain Carlton Creek at Khajaguda; PBEL City at Peeramcheruvu and SMR Vinay Iconia at Kondapur; to be the best in these areas.
The Gated Communities are classified into two categories for the Grand Ganesh Awards, those with 500 families and more and the ones with less than 500 families. Each category of Gated communities are judged and awarded for nine different criteria.
The selection of the best gated communities for the Grand Ganesh Awards is done by a team consisting of representatives from Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva and independent Jury members. The jury comprising of Lions Dr Saurabh Sureka, Rupa Sureka, Kenisha Sabnani, Chanchal Sharma, Mohit Sarda, Neha R Gupta, Lion Anitha Gali, Dr Apeksha, Ms Kritika Sharma, Ms Jhanvi Bajaj, visited various Gated communities across the city and selected the best Ganesh pandals for the nine awards under each Gated Community category. The nine awards are Most Innovative Concept, Best Décor, Most Culturally Active Society, Best Prasadam Seva, Safest Community, Most Environment Friendly Community, Best Sustainable Concepts, Most Digitally Active Society and Most Resident Friendly Community.
Apart from these, the overall winner will be announced on 11th September, 2022, at a Grand Awards Function. The previous seasons saw Gated Communities like Rainbow Vistas Rock Garden and My Home Jewel, corner the Grand Ganesh Awards. This entire concept is curated by event management company, Celebration Makers.
