Kolkata, 7th July, 2022: East Tech 2022 is being jointly organized by Head Quarters Eastern Command of Indian Army, Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on 7th & 8th July 2022 at Bishwa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata, West Bengal.
The objective of this mega tech exhibition is to showcase industry's technical prowess and capabilities in the domain of Weapons, Unmanned Systems, Mobility, Troop Protection & Sustenance, Surveillance, Communication and Navigation.
Colonel Manish Singh on behalf of Eastern Command, Kolkata invites the faculty and students of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB to visit the event on 08 July 2022 10 am to 6 pm and be a part of this unique experience. The educational institutions being the cradle of young minds with bubbling energy for innovations and technical artistry, the presence of students will elevate the intellectual output of the event for quality recommendations.
The two days exhibition shall be visited by high level dignitaries, senior officials from Defence Forces, Para Military Forces and various members of the industry who shall assess the solutions on display and give their recommendations with regards to the procurement of equipment which would potentially enhance the operational readiness of the Forces.
This exhibition will go a long way in boosting the technical capability of our nation and bring us closer to our objective of "Atmanirbhar Bharat'’.
