Thiruvananthapuram: 28, March 2022: As Kerala's premier IT hub Technopark is coming back to its normalcy post-covid, a sports league has kicked off to energise the employees. As part of the 'Back to Campus' campaign, Sports League 2022, organised by Park Centre Staff Association, has gone live with cricket matches.
Kerala IT Parks CEO John M Thomas inaugurated the cricket matches, which included the participation of women employees too. "Covid-19 forces professionals to adopt work from home mode. Now, we need to bring back all techies into campus. This type of sports leagues would be ideal for such a drive," said IT Parks chief John M Thomas.
IT Parks Secretary-Registrar Suresh Kumar TP, Chief Finance Officer Jayanthi L, General Manager (Projects) Madhavan Praveen spoke at the function. The cricket matches were conducted under the leadership of Sports Committee members Ajith Raveendran, Pradeep Kumar, Suresh Kumar, and Preethu Pratheep. Four teams participated in the cricket fest.
