RIYADH: KPMG, the leading provider of audit, tax and advisory services in Saudi Arabia, announced strategic promotions in its public sector team. The move further consolidates company’s standing as an advisor to the government across a range of entities, supporting the path towards Vision 2030.
To cater to the growth being witnesses, KPMG promoted two (2) of its directors - Hanan Alowain has been promoted to the Partner position and Ghassan El Chaarani promoted as Senior Director.
Dr Abdullah Al Fozan, Chairman, KPMG in Saudi Arabia, while congratulating to both, said: “We at KPMG take great gratification in developing our people and enriching their careers. Hanan Alowain joined KPMG in 2018 bringing 14 years of experience in the field of human capital and social development in the Kingdom. Aside from focusing on human resources and social development, she works on sports and quality of life initiatives. She is also the Vice Chairperson for the Association of Saudi Management Consultants. Alowain is the second Saudi female partner at KPMG in Saudi Arabia.
Ghassan El Chaarani joined KPMG in April 2019 and brought a deep specialization in investment attraction, development and facilitation. He has over 20 years of experience in the fields of strategy formulation and implementation across FMCG and telecommunications, as well as in the design and implementation of investment incentives.
