Dubai, United Arab Emirates: In a world first, Vatika, the iconic haircare brand has launched Vatika Natural Blending Rituals, its first-ever custom hair oil solution designed to meet individual hair needs.
Derived from the belief that beautiful hair lies with nature – and also that we are all individuals with unique hair texture, style and length – Vatika has crafted a tailor-made approach based on the fact that no two people are the same.
The new Blending Rituals contains all the goodness of nature, packed into one unique signature blend which the user creates themselves by mixing their choice of Vatika oils.
Whether hair is wavy or straight, dry or oily, long or short, individuals can select from a choice of seven oils – almond, coconut, castor, garlic, black seed, onion and cactus. – This is then combined with Elixir, a magical potion infused with hundreds of superfoods and herbs that works to protect naturally present lipids and proteins, thereby making hair stronger, softer, healthier and shine with radiance.
The oils are designed to tackle different hair needs so a custom mix can be created with up to eight oils recommended per blend:
Almond Oil
Almond oil is rich in vitamin D and E as well as minerals like magnesium and calcium. These vitamins and minerals are beneficial in strengthening hair and moisturising it from root to top. Almond oil acts like a natural moisturiser preventing hair from going brittle and as such, is the perfect solution for dry hair.
Coconut Oil
Coconut is rich in antioxidants like vitamin E which instantly moisturizes dry hair. It prevents breakage, split ends and stimulates thicker hair growth. It is ideal for added volume to hair, leaving it thicker, more vivacious and luscious that ever before.
Castor Oil
Castor is an age-old remedy used to reduce hair fall. It also moisturizes the scalp, combats dandruff, leaving your hair smooth and shiny. Rich in ricinoleic acid, a type of fatty acid which contains anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties – it is an ideal solution for those who suffer from scalp problems. It also has ample amounts of vitamin E content, plenty of Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids – all of which are great for tresses. Castor oil is a great solution for thinning hair as it promotes thicker hair growth.
Garlic Oil
For many years beauty enthusiasts have benefited from garlic’s excellent medicinal and Ayurvedic qualities. It fights dandruff and decreases hair fall with the selenium in garlic providing vitamin E to hair, resulting in less breakage and faster regrowth.
Black Seed Oil
Black seeds come from the Nigella sativa plant, a natural antioxidant which helps keep dandruff at bay and the scalp moisturised thanks to its fatty acid composition.
Onion Oil
Onions are high in antioxidants which in turn helps to optimize the hair growth cycle. Rich in sulfur, it helps prevent hair fall, breakage, split ends and hair thinning – as well as improving the quality of hair follicles. Furthermore, onions help to maintain the regular pH of hair which prevents premature greying. Last but not least, it ensures hair remains well-nourished.
Cactus Oil
Well-known for storing water, cactus also contains 17 amino acids and antioxidants that can prevent damage to the hair. By coating the hair with the same layers of protection as a cactus plant, it retains moisture, thereby making it an ideal for hair fall.
