Jaipur: Shedding light on the water crisis of Rajasthan, the film ‘Turtle’ will have its World Television Premiere on 20 January. The Producer of the film, Ashok Choudhary, who won the National Award at the 66th President's Awards ceremony for the first time in the history of Rajasthani language films, says the film is a fictional adaptation of a real incident of water crisis brewing in the villages of Rajasthan. He added that this type of film is extremely necessary so that awareness can be spread about water crisis. The film points to the third world war over water crisis.
Mr. Choudhary further informed that due to Covid-19 pandemic, this film could not be released in cinema houses. However, the film released on OTT platform in 190 countries on 31 December, 2021 and people have greatly appreciated the film. It has been liked by more than 94% viewers on Google. Its world television premiere will take place on 20 and 21 January. The film will also give an impetus Rajasthan's art, Culture and tourism.
Featuring the well-known actor Sanjay Mishra in the lead role, the film has been directed by Mr. Dinesh S. Yadav. While Mr. Prateek Chalna is the Associate Producer of the film, Mr. Sameer Pahariyan is the Casting Director. Apart from Sanjay Mishra, many actors including Ankit Anil Sharma, Amol Deshmukh and Monika Sharma have acted in the film. It is worth noting that artists from Rajasthan have been given a chance to be in the film and the film has also been shot across several locations of the state.
Mr. Ashok Choudhary is also the producer of the film ‘Waah Zindagi’which had its world television premiere on 6 and 7 January and is also available on OTT platforms.
