Jaipur, 8 December. During the winter session of Lok Sabha, Rajsamand MP, Diya Kumari raised the issue of stoppage of trains in her parliamentary constituency.
Expressing gratitude to the Union Railway Minister for running some special trains in Rajsamand parliamentary constituency during the pandemic, MP Diya Kumari said that there are many religious places, tourist places, and industrial areas in this area where a large number of passengers commute. At present, some important trains have been resumed. However, due to the lack of stoppage at some important stations, the residents of the area are facing a lot of problems in traffic. There are a lot of passengers and freight load at these stations owing to which railways can also get a good source of income and passengers will also get connectivity of trains, added the MP.
During the Zero Hour of Lok Sabha, Diya Kumari demanded the stoppage of Salasar Superfast Train at Gotan, Ala Hazrat Express at Sendra, Jammu Tawi-Jaisalmer Train at Degana, Bandra-Chandigarh train at Beawar, Kalka Express at Gotan and Salasar Superfast at railway station Ren.
Considering the importance of religious, industrial and tourist places of the region and the need of the people of the area, Diya Kumari requested the Union Railway Minister to provide orders for stoppage of trains at the above stations.
