It not only eliminates the requirement of a barrier-fluid but also any chance of seal-face contamination into the product.
The ace5000™ helps reduce the total cost of ownership and runs completely dry. it comes with a predictive failure feature that allows for planned maintenance preventing sudden seal failures . This product can be used in all types of applications such as API, cGMP areas, sterile operations, crystallization, high vacuum, finish product area, high viscous process, and frequent seal failures.
Agitators and mixers in the process industry conventionally use mechanical seals that work on the principle of faces lapping onto each other and require extensive maintenance and high cost of ownership. They are also vulnerable to the occurring axial and radial shaft movements which leads to breakdown of the seals over a period of time. Ace5000™ addresses these issues since it runs dry and ensures that process runs contamination-free.
