Our Tourism Players have best product knowledge to their ability. Unfortunately Covid 19 put a big hammer on the Tourism activity and so did also to other businesses. However, we are glad to share that J&K was among the first few States where Covid spread was controlled to the extreme extent by August that enabled the Tourists to start coming to Kashmir from September onwards. Post efficient controls of Covid Virus by J&K Govtt, Deptt of Tourism started publicity campaigning right from September and still continue to highlight our products. To ensure control of Covid in the Valley, both the Airports of Srinagar & Jammu test all the incoming Passengers with Rapid Test to ensure that no one travels with a virus. Till date we are happy to inform that not a single Tourist arrived with a Covid Virus & all also left with no virus contracted anywhere. All the Hotels & Houseboats maintain all the Covid Control Protocols and follow new norms.
The northern most state is rightly called "Bliss on Earth". The sparkling rivers, placid lakes, gorgeous gardens and indescribable beauty of nature in the state of Jammu and Kashmir leave you completely speechless. Home to the unparalleled virgin landscapes of Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh, a travel and tourism experience to this joyous state is an unmatchable experience that will leave you feeling cleansed and pure. J&K with a particular mention of Kashmir as the playground of the Himalayas is known over whole world for its tourism potential offering nature bestowed attractions to a tourist like vast stretches of green meadows / forests, serene lakes and rich flora and fauna and worlds great Sufi Centre with excellent heritage. It is a state which has diverse tourist attractions in all its regions of Jammu & Kashmir
The people of the state who are heavily dependent on earnings from tourism are here to urge loving Telangana travellers & Tourism Players of Hyderabad to extend full support to us and sell J&K as a preferred destination to their clients. Selling J&K is also in the National interest. It was due to the strong resolve of the tourism trade and efforts of the successive state and Central Governments with some of the most refined Officers sitting in front of us, that tourism is again showing upward trend and I must put it on record to appreciate all of you here for giving top priority in Selling J&K.
Let’s all pledge today to make Kashmir the prominent tourism destination which is now fully geared with excellent infrastructure, Upgraded Luxury Houseboats, a unique heritage of the world, quality transport, Gondola, River Rafting, Paragliding Jhelum Cruises, worth visiting Lalded Cultural Centre and to be added, Aquatic activities on Dal Lake such as laser Shows and Musical fountains etc. Infact Tourism Department is leaving no stone unturned to create world class Tourism related Infrastructure and coming up in line are Sound & Light Shows, World Class Exhibition Centre, International Saffron Trade Centre, Cable Cars at other destinations, Heli Skiing in other Snow Alpines, World Class Museum to exhibit most important, price less and Original Arti facts etc. of Himalayan Region.
