Bengaluru, February 6th, 2024: IIM Kashipur conducted a Leadership Development Program for Max Healthcare from September’23 to January ’24. This program was in line with IIM Kashipur’s plan to diversify into sector-specific Management Development Programs. The collaboration with Max Healthcare recognizes the need for industry and academia to curate leadership development programs that can create a critical mass of change agents within healthcare industry and thereby raise collective leadership.

This program included modules on Marketing, Operations, Accounts, Information Systems, and Human Resource Management. The classes were conducted both in Max Healthcare and the IIM Kashipur campus. 75 participants were in senior positions from various hospital units from Max Healthcare. In the valedictory session organized at IIM Kashipur campus on 23-24 January’24, certificates were distributed to the eligible participants.

Speaking on this occasion Prof. Kunal Ganguly, Dean of Development said that this program is a major step forward for IIM Kashipur to diversify its education offering and contribute to the healthcare sector.

On behalf of Max Healthcare, Mr. Umesh Gupta, Senior Director & Chief People Officer said that growing organizations like Max Healthcare need to raise the level of collective leadership to succeed in an increasingly complex present and future. A critical aspect of growing as a leader is to have a learning mindset. The Max Leadership Development program in partnership with IIM Kashipur aims at personalizing, contextualizing and socializing learning, to empower future leaders to unlock their true potential and contribute to their own as well as the organization’s growth trajectory.

Recently, both IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare have tied up to offer a Post Graduate Executive Program in Hospital Management (PGEPHM). Both organizations decided to launch programs related to Healthcare Management to address the increasing demand for trained manpower for the sector. The first in the series will be the Post Graduate Executive Programme in Hospital Management where the classes will be conducted by faculty from both IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare with practical training at the Max Hospitals. Both organizations also decided to have joint research, seminars, and other academic collaborations.
