Jaipur: During the monsoon session in the Lok Sabha, Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari met the newly appointed Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Mansukh Mandaviya and put forth the demand to remove the impediments in opening the Government Medical College in Rajsamand.
During the meeting, MP Diya Kumari told the Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare that Rajsamand is in dire need of a medical college. However, some slight amendments in the government provisions are necessary for it. The MP further said that if better health facilities will be available along with medical education, then it will be a big relief for the youth as well as the people.
The Union Minister assured the MP that in view of the important role of the medical sector during the Covid period, positive steps will be taken in this direction. Diya Kumari also wished the newly appointed Minister a bright future.
