Dubai, UAE: Ladies in the Mudon and Remraam communities have the chance to learn some new skills and add some boho chic style to their homes, with the latest edition of a regular masterclass series focusing on macrame crafting techniques.
The macrame workshops, which follow on from a series of floral wreath masterclasses in June, will teach the crafting technique that uses knots to create textile pieces, from wall hangings through to jewellery, purses, clothing and more.
Held at WOFL in Mudon Community Centre on 12th July and at Little Neighbourhood in Remraam Community Centre on 26th July, the macrame masterclasses run from 10am to 12pm and are complimentary with a spend of AED 50 at Mudon and AED 50 at Remraam on F&B.
The series is being led by the experts at The Workshop Hub, a local small business that creates experiential events which foster creativity and a sense of community among adults. Forthcoming workshops will focus on pot painting, lino/tea towel gift wrap and festive wreaths.
Spaces must be reserved in advance by contacting mudon@theworkshophub.me and remraam@theworkshophub.me. The workshops are open to all, but priority will be offered to those living in the respective community.
