Hyderabad, December 2022: EYM - Empowering Young Minds, a Non-profit Organization, donated 10 Smart Televisions ( 40 Inches TVs) with Digital Learning Content to Anganwadi Centre in Rayadurg, Ranga Reddy District, today. EYM is the brainchild of 12thGrade student, Rishika Reddy Lingamdinne and her fellow students. The donation was part of EYM’s unique initiative to empower the elementary and pre-primary children with new age technological tools and thereby improve their learning outcomes.
EYM strongly believes that early childhood learning will pave the way for better socio economic conditions, aligning with UN Sustainable Developmental Goals, saysRishika Reddy Lingamdinne.
This initiative is a concept of common smart infrastructure usage for digital education and smart learning. The early smart learning system can go a long way in changing the socio-economic matrices of the families of Anganwadi children in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It empowers and transforms the lives of kids from impoverished families by leveraging new age technological tools. EYM is facilitating digital learning infrastructure for Anganwadi school children to facilitate smart learning outcomes among them. The program is in cooperation with People Helping Children, an NGO working for the welfare of underprivileged children. It advocates and operates as an active Implementation partner of this initiative.
Our capacity outcomes are going to begin and manifest prominently with the launch of digital learning infrastructure at Anganwadi school in Rayadurg, says Rishika Reddy Lingamdinne.
This initiative was undertaken earlier as a Pilot Project in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in association with the ICDS and Women and Child Welfare Department, Government of Telangana and TSIG (Telangana Social Impact Group).
The project launch was successful in the presence of respected dignitaries Shri. Vasupalli Gangadhar Reddy Garu; Gachibowli Division Corporator, Shri. Komirisetti Saibaba garu, Former Corporator of Gachibowli Division, Smt. Lakshmi Bai garu, ICDS Program Director and other significant personalities.
