Thiruvananthapuram: Rotary Club of Technopark kickstarted the district project ‘Ente Gramam’ by donating most essential consumables including syringes and high pressure extension lines to the Critical Care Unit at Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. The Club also presented the Vocational Service Excellence Award to Dr. Anil Sathyadas who heads the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at MCH on the occasion of the National Doctor’s day. The award was given in recognition of the selfless support in the fight against covid-19 pandemic by providing supervised care for more than 1000 critically ill covid patients and serving as the member of the state medical board for covid, coordinator for state critical care medicine guidelines, transplant procurement manager and medical officer in charge of MDICU at MCH Thiruvananthapuram.
