Jaipur: An unauthorised application form is circulating on various social platforms, offering financial assistance of Rs. 5000 to folk artistes owing to the Corona pandemic under the ‘Artistes Welfare Fund’. However, no such form has been floated by the Department of Art, Literature, Culture and Archaeology, Government of Rajasthan; Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur; Ravindra Manch, Jaipur or any other Government body. Such financial assistance, however, is under consideration.
If in future such a form is issued by the Department of Art, Literature, Culture and Archaeology, Government of Rajasthan or any other Government organization, the same will be circulated on the website of the Department, social media platform and through the media. Those in possession of this form are advised not to disseminate their personal information on unauthorized channels.
