Jaipur, 5 July: The closing ceremony of the presentation-oriented theatrical workshop 'Taare Zameen Par, Sare Stage Par' organized for the special children of the Jaipur-based NGO 'Rays-Aasha Ki Ek Kiran' will be held on 7 July, Thursday. This program will be organized in the main auditorium of Ravindra Manch from 7 pm, in which 3 plays prepared by special children who have taken training during the workshop, will be presented. It is also noteworthy that during the summer vacation, a 40-day theatrical workshop was organized by Tamhankar Theater Academy for the all-round development of special children of Rays. Children in the age group of 4 years to 16 years enthusiastically participated in the workshop.
The closing ceremony will see the performance of 3 plays by the children of RAYS, in which the first play - 'Tab Ramenge Devta' (Nukkad Style) will be staged. The second short play 'Aasha Ki Ek Kiran' written and directed by senior theater artist R. Anurag will also be staged. The third performance will be the presentation of the famous play 'Dil Ki Dukan' written by Rajendra Kumar Sharma, directed by Arshiya Parveen. The specialty of this concluding ceremony will be that all the work of the program will be done by the children. Apart from this, during the workshop, each of the participants prepared a project by documenting the details of the entire workshop day-wise, which was evaluated by the senior judges and selected for the best three awards (senior category), best three (junior category age 6 to 12 years). . All of the winnery will be rewarded on the day of closing ceremony.
During the workshop, the participants were taught the nuances of theater by the workshop director Arshiya Parveen. In these 40 days, children were told in detail about the pronunciation of Om, yoga, theatrical practice as well as all the points of theatre. During this, from time to time the seniors and subject experts of the theater were also invited to guide the participants. Along with this, various stages of personality development of children were explained in detail. The technique of memorizing the subject matter in a brief amount of time was explained through exercises so that the students can benefit during the study. Apart from acting, the participants were also explained in detail about the lighting scheme, sound/music, costumes, amphitheater as well as stage concept etc.
